THE NAY FAMILY IN UTAH AND THE WEST

The greatest tributes that were ever paid to him were by (1) his wife Lurana, to whom he was always faithful and so patient with when she was ill; (2) his daughters, whom he always had love and time for; (3) Emma, who admired his honesty and sincerity; (4) his parents, who loved and prayed for him; (5) his grandchildren whom he adored; (6) his neighbors and friends and especially all of the neighborhood children who came to the funeral to see their “Uncle Myron.” His funeral service was held in Richfield First Ward chapel.37 He was buried on August 2, 1943 in Richfield, Sevier County, Utah next to his first wife, Lurana. 38

Emma followed him in death on January 14, 1949 at the home of her son Benjamin M. Ainsworth in Richfield, Utah.39 She was buried in the Richfield City Cemetery on

January 17, 1949.40

1 John and Lucy Nay are listed as parents and Myron’s birth date is listed as August 22, 1860 at the time of Myron’s baptism as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Myron’s middle name Windslo is sometimes found spelled Windslow or Winslow. Myron was named after Lucy’s brother, Myron Winnslow Pine, however; Myron Nay signed his name Windslo.
